What is Insulation and Why is it Important?

No matter the season, you may never stop to consider the importance of having the right insulation in your home or even realize that it’s what helps to keep your house cool in the summer and warm in the winter while helping to reduce costs. Available in several different materials, it’s commonly used to lessen the flow of thermal energy. If you have noticed that your heating or air conditioning bills have been rising, it may be time to have your insulation upgraded.

We work primarily with two different types of insulation, Batt Fiberglass Insulation and Spray Foam Insulation and provide recommendations on which would work best for you.

Batt Fiberglass

Batt insulation is comprised of fiberglass, which almost entirely consists of pre- and post-consumer recycled materials. Eco-consciousness customers are always happy to hear that this form of insulation can help them to not only save on costs, but also provide viable soundproofing when installed.

Spray Foam

Spray foam insulation is composed of organic chemical compounds which have a virtually limitless lifespan. This is why our spray foam insulation warranty is valid for the entire life of the structure. It offers many benefits which include energy efficiency, moisture blocking, mold prevention and can even improve the resale value of your home.

Conveniently located in both Center Moriches and Middle Island, NY, our experts are always available to provide a free estimate whether you are building a new home or simply want to rest assured that the insulation you have in place is up to par. We are happy to come to you in person and provide an evaluation, and if a problem is found, work efficiently to ensure that the issue is fixed.
